EU Report on the features and incentives of human traffickers
An EU Report regarding the features and incentives of traffickers.
TRACE, or Trafficking As a Criminal Enterprise, was a European Union project that focused on the activities of the perpetrators by developing an understanding of the structure, social relationships, modus operandi, travel routes and technologies associated with different types of human trafficking (human trafficking for sexual exploitation, labour exploitation, forced criminal activities, etc.).
I found its “Report on the features and incentives of traffickers and on the social interactions among them” as a valuable ressource. It makes a profile of the “average” / “typical” human trafficker based on court files, interviews with traffickers, professional experts, victims of human trafficking, lawyers and social workers.
You can read this report, together with other useful reports on this topic on the TRACE website – trace-project.eu.
I like this web site so much, saved to fav.
